Monika Piskorek

Monika Piskorek is a freelance documentary photographer whose career began in Poland in 2006. Having studied International Relations at the Warsaw School of Economics and then Photojournalism at the London College of Communication, her subsequent work focused on Haiti. There she has worked on series of commissions; the current state of maternal health in Haiti (World Health Organization), the provision of the obstetric care program (WHO), a consultant photographer for the United Nation Population Fund (UNFPA) and the Haitian Network for Health and Development (Rhasade) with an ongoing independent project to document the conditions of women in Haiti. Monika is current work is on minority communities in Poland.
