William Winram and Pierre Frolla freediving with tiger sharks in South Africa and with great white sharks in Eastern Pacific. All the freedives were done without cage or protection devices. The purpose of these dives is not to perform a stunt of any kind but to show the true nature of these animals which are misunderstood. The images displays shy animals that need to gain confidence in their visitors from the surface before approaching. It's paradoxal to witness that us, humans, are considered as threats by these apex predators often qualified of 'bloodthirsty'. All these pictures capture in natural light, the freediving action that is the closest to what you can observe when you are underwater.
