Shanti Busti is home to one-hundred rag-picking Assamese families in the north Indian city of Lucknow.
One of these families is the Khatoons who live in a small dusty corner of Shanti Busti over which a patchwork of plastic sheeting hangs to provide shelter for Zohra, her husband Sameer and their six children.
The eldest daughters, Sahera and Saleha must supplement their parent's earnings
by joining other girls from the neighbourhood picking up trash along the streets.
